"The Horse Fixer" of Cochise County

Growing up on a 600-acre horse ranch in Riverside, CA, it was impossible to keep Heather McKay from not just falling in love with horses but figuring out what made them tick.

“By the time I was seven, it was impossible to keep me off a horse,” said McKay. “I knew there was nothing else I ever wanted to do.
