Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

January 31, 2026, 9 a.m. to 11:30 am

Sierra Vista

Sierra Vista Aquatics Center (The Cove)

2900 MLK JR Pkwy

The Polar Plunge—sometimes held in conjunction with the Law Enforcement Torch Run— is a huge fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics and the athletes. In order to participate, individuals or teams collect pledges from friends, family, and colleagues to lock in their spot before diving into the frigid water.

Special Olympics Programs invites you to come out and support your community by taking the Polar Plunge; your involvement is critical in aiding our athletes. Proceeds raised go to help provide year round sports training and competition for athletes. Additionally, your contribution and involvement helps athletes achieve their goals, live healthier lives, and have a sense of inclusion in the community.

For more information, contact Lisa Ball at 928-210-8862 or lisa@specialolympicsarizona.org
