Escape the summer heat and uncork something extraordinary. Uncorked & Under Cover is an indoor wine festival in the heart of Willcox Wine Country, bringing together five Arizona wineries, each with unique Arizona wine perspectives, under one cool roof for a day of exceptional pours, great food, music, and local art.

The Lantern Festival brings individuals of all ages (free entry for ages 5 and under), backgrounds and walks of life together for one awe-inspiring evening.
Events start at 3 p.m. at the San Pedro Golf Course.
There will be music, dancing, arts and crafts, merchandise, and food and beverage vendors, and a great (free) Kids Zone with complimentary face painting, a balloon twister, climbing wall and several inflatable features!
When the time is just right, we will light the sky with our highest hopes, deepest desires, and fondest memories. Mark milestones, set goals or celebrate the life of a loved one in Heaven. Join us for our annual Classic Cars OFF Main celebration on September 19 at Lions Park, at 435 North Adams Avenue in Benson.
Set up begins at 6 a.m., and gates for cars open at 7 a.m.
To show your special car, truck, rat rod or motorcycle, preregistration costs $20, with same-day registration costing $25.
The show is open to the public, free of charge, at 8 a.m. and continues to 2 p.m., with prizes being awarded at 1:30 p.m.

On Saturday, October 3, the 10th Annual Sky Island Tour bicycling event will be held, starting at 7 a.m. at the Mall at Sierra Vista. This year’s ride is dedicated to the memory of VeloVets Sierra Vista’s iconic founder and bicycling advocate Stu Carter, so we are hoping for a record turnout. The Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association (TAAA) will be hosting “Evening Under the Stars,” a free stargazing event on Saturday, October 3 at its Chiricahua Astronomy Complex in the Turkey Creek area in Pearce.
The site will be open by 6 p.m. with activities starting at 7 p.m. Club telescopes will be available for viewing. As the sky darkens, we will observe deep sky objects such as galaxies, star clusters and nebulae (gas clouds in space).

The Hummingbird Stitchers Quilt Guild will be having a sewing and quilt sale on October 3 and October 4, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at their Rothery Center meeting room, 3305 E. Fry Blvd, Sierra Vista.
There will be hundreds of yards of quilting and clothing fabric on sale, much as low as $1 per yard. Also completed quilts, quilt kits, gifts, notions, quilt patterns, sewing machines and more will be for sale.

Kids events start the rodeo on Saturday at 2 p.m., and rodeo action continues into the evening. Bring the family, invite your friends, and come celebrate a weekend full of tradition, fun, and community spirit in beautiful Benson.

The Sierra Vista Car Club’s 38th Annual Cars in the Park will be held Saturday, October 10th at the Veterans’ Memorial Park in Sierra Vista, AZ. Dash plaques to the first 200 entries. The show will be held, "Rain or Shine".
Pre-Registration is $20 per vehicle - closes October 2nd.
Day of Registration $25 per vehicle (cash only).
As always, there is no entry fee for spectators.
Registration from 7am-10am. Judging 10am-1pm. Awards at 2pm.

“Our Freedom in Christ, Our Hope for Tomorrow” is the theme for the 18th Annual Community Hymn Festival to be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 18. This year's Hymn Festival will be a special Christian celebration for America's 250th Anniversary.
Hymn Festivals are a dynamic way of uniting different faith communities and celebrating the musical heritage of diverse Christian churches. The first local Community Hymn Festival was held in 2008. Since that time, it has become a musical and spiritual highlight for the entire community!
There is no cost for this event, a freewill offering will be taken to benefit Peach's Pantry, which has been helping to feed children in Cochise County for over 10 years.
