Qualifying artists live within SSVEC service territories, art is original, and their own. Absolutely no photographs or images created/generated from AI. Eligible submissions will include: 1. Artist’s name 2. Title of their artwork 3. Town in which they live, and 4. (if applicable) other art gallery’s their work can be found in. One submission per division per month will be accepted.
Submissions close by the 20th of each month for the month following, or when 75 total entries have been received. Should entries exceed 75, they will have the option to be featured in the next month.

Wall Art (Hanging Media): This category is reserved for oil, acrylic, mixed media, watercolor, pastel, graphics (pencil, colored pencil, pen and ink, pyrography, and other hanging art), and quilts. Submissions will be photos of the created art to be displayed in this division.
Photography: This will feature camera-captured photography, maintaining much of their original composition (limited cropping), and show only minimal editing.
Photographic Art: Differing from the “photography” division in that images that are camera-captured are modified from the original raw composition by adding/removing components, using special effects, merging/stacking multiple photos (astronomical or high dynamic range [HDR]).
Table/Standing art: This will feature creations such as, but not limited to jewelry, clay/ceramic, wood, glass, metal or other 3-D crafts.
Youth Division: This will feature the art of any of the above-mentioned divisions from local youth, ages 18 and under.
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from Noon to 4:45 p.m.

Art is a wonderful outlet for expression and can provide great relief for anyone dealing with separation, sadness, anxiety, stress or anger.
No registration is needed however ID is required.

The Friends of the San Pedro River is holding a Graphic Art Contest! As part of the Celebrate the San Pedro! Spring festival coming up on April 25th (save the date!), we are holding a contest for the best graphic design. The winning entry will be used on stickers and t-shirts to be offered at the festival and thereafter. We will offer prizes for the best three designs. The contest is open to everyone in Cochise County with an artistic streak.
First prize winner will receive a $100 honorarium check, display table at the event, and a one-day showing of their artwork at the San Pedro House Nature Store in 2026.
Second and Third prize winners will receive a $25.00 gift certificate at the San Pedro House Nature Store and honorable mention on our Facebook and website pages.
All submitted entries will be acknowledged and shared on FSPR’s social media (with artist credit), regardless of final selection.

The Saint David Monastery Art Festival Committee invites artists of all mediums to participate in the Saint David Monastery Art Festival on Saturday March 7, 10am to 3pm.
The art festival has a rich history of successful art events with hundreds of artists participating, and thousands of people attending. The festivals stopped in 2019 with the transition of the property ownership.
Now, the festival committee is excited to rev the festivals up again within the beautiful and serene Monastery grounds - attracting quality artists of all mediums from fine art paintings and bronze sculptures to pottery, leather, origami, embellished steer skulls, copper, jewelry and much.
Space is available for artists to apply until February 15.
